The international congress e-CROFI 2021 (Current Research on Fluid Inclusions) was held online from June 28th to July 2nd, 2021. This is the 26th edition of the biennial international conference,  dedicated to the investigation of fluids and magmas at all scales through the study of fluid and melt inclusions.

The ECROFI conference in 2021 was originally planned to be held in Reykjavík. Due to the COVID pandemic the scientific committee of ECROFI decided that the 2021 meeting would be held on-line (first e-CROFI meeting) and the Reykjavík meeting is postponed by 2 years (to 2023).

The organising committee of the 1st e-CROFI meeting are the organisers of the previous two and next two ECROFI conferences (Nancy, Budapest, Reykjavík, and Torino).

ECROFI 2025

fluidinc_edited.jpg

Since 1969, ECROFI (European Current Research on Fluid Inclusions) is a biennial meeting dedicated to fluid and melt inclusion studies focusing on inclusions’ wide application from sedimentary/diagenetic environment to deep fluids through ore deposits and magmatic processes.

For the first time, the University of Torino and the Department of Earth Sciences will be the host of this meeting, in 2025.

According to the tradition of the ECROFI, we aim to create a forum where researchers and students from all the Countries can present their research on fluid and melt inclusions and discuss their results.
The conference will include scientific sessions, covering all the application fields of fluid and melt inclusion studies, workshops and field trips.
