Connect4Carbon

This project is intended to catalyze interdisciplinary research and will be grounded on a highly collaborative research approach. The project will associate five research units formed by scientists from a variety of sub-disciplines within Earth Sciences, including igneous and metamorphic petrology, geochemistry, and volcanology. These five research units will coordinate a program of experimental geochemistry, fluid thermodynamics, igneous and metamorphic petrology, coupled with constraints on surface degassing by direct measurements. The methodology will not be target extensive, comprehensive, but will focus on specific key processes occurring in specific reservoirs by cutting-edge research methodologies.
